Timeless design meets innovative lighting technology
A simple cylinder with a short, U-shaped recess – with their high formal qualities, the BÄRO Pendiro IC pendant lamps managed to convince the “Iconic Awards–Interior Innovation” design jury. The product line, complemented by new innovative technologies, is now acclaimed by the German Design Council: The most important German design and branding authority has awarded the new Ontero IC track spot with the “German Design Award 2020” design award 2020.
Spotlights such as the Ontero IC are indispensable tools for displaying products in retail because of their flexibility. Here it can be seen that BÄRO product closely follows current market needs: Ontero IC uses the new In-Track adapter. It protrudes just a few millimeters above the adapter rail and still contains complete, miniaturized driver electronics. In this way, the body of the spotlight remains confined to the striking light head.
In Track adapter with the option of wireless control via smartphone Despite its minimized form, In Track allows innovative options such as a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module available on demand. With this wireless technology, lights can be easily dimmed from mobile devices and linked together to form a network. The app required for this (Casambi) is available free of charge for iOS and Android. Thanks to the optimum position of the joint in the middle of the luminaire head, unlike many other structures, the center of gravity of the rail spot remains centered under the rail at each alignment.
Semi-recessed – rational and individual with system design Dimmable also plays an important role in the new semi-recessed luminaire Intara IC. In addition to versions with DALI drivers, versions with adjustable potentiometers are also available. With its cohesive design, the Intara IC accentuates the room and is a problem solver wherever mounting depth is limited: around 50mm is sufficient. It is the same as the Intara CX recessed luminaire family with a 132 mm hole Capi. Combined with standard lighting technology, this system of the BÄRO series simplifies both the planning and implementation of individual lighting concepts. The option to individually define the length of the Intara IC cantilever arm on request opens up other possible uses as well as the wide selection of colors and metallic finishes available for the IC series as part of the BÄRO Individual service.

The common point of the efficient and sensitive hybrid optics IC series of ray spot, semi-recessed and pendant lighting is high quality and efficient LED lighting technology. Here BÄRO relies on innovative hybrid optics that combine the advantages of reflectors and lens systems. They create a particularly balanced contrast between the center of gravity and the courtyard of the cone of light. Special 3D silicon lenses are used in some light distributions. Hybrid optics, OvalBasic and WallBeam reflectors are used especially for vertical light illumination, as well as light distribution from NarrowSpot to Flood. This lighting technology versatility combined with a consistent, distinctive design makes the new IC luminaire series the ideal tool for any retail project: With this completed product range, BÄRO has once again proven itself as an innovative and competent lighting solution partner.
